
Marvel’s Spider-Man on PC will allow players to swing through the city of New York on mouse and keyboard and a PS5 DualSense controller – with a wealth of customisation options available.

Mike Fitzgerald, the technology director at Insomniac, outlined plans to “make this game a visual stunner on the PC platform.” The ray-tracing will vary, but if your hardware can handle it, the modes can offer “more city detail when web-swinging and fighting crime in Marvel’s New York.” Recently, GameLuster reported that Marvel’s Spider-Man would feature a higher-quality ray tracing mode than the PS5 version. Plus, they’ll need to do this before the release date on August 12 to ensure they receive early unlock bonuses. For players who’ve already pre-purchased Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, Steam advise them to follow a series of steps to ensure they receive the title at a lower price. The issue, Steam confirms, has been rectified – and they add that other markets have not been affected by the price change.

In the UK, the value has been repriced from £54.99 to £49.99. In an official statement on Steam, they confirmed that the remastered version of the hit 2018 game has been “incorrectly priced” in countries including Australia, Israel, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Switzerland, and the UK. The price for Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered has been altered in certain territories on Steam – with players being advised to refund and repurchase the game.
